General Motors has suspended the production of the Chevrolet Cruze at their Lordstown, Ohio facility. Third shift at the plant has been suspended and has shortened the first and second shifts. The cause of the slowdown was because of an unnamed supplier issue. GM hope to resolve the issue soon and get back up to full production.

Join Team Schumacher Chevy as they make strides against breast cancer.
Sunday October 16
By joining us at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, you are helping our team create more pink in your community. What does this mean? More pink stands for the progress we’re making together to end breast cancer. More pink stands for lifesaving programs and services like Look Good… Feel Better which teaches women how to feel beautiful during treatment, or Road to Recovery which provides free rides to and from treatment to those in need. More pink stands for 2.5 million survivors who are alive today. And all it takes to continue this fight is a little green. Let’s continue to fund groundbreaking research and help people in need receive the screenings and services that they need.
Nothing can describe the hope inspired by walking with hundreds or thousands of others who share a passion for ending this disease. Nearly everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way so we’ve decided to make a difference by walking and raising money as a team in our local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
How far will you go to end breast cancer? Saving lives from breast cancer starts one walker, one team, and one dollar at a time. That’s how American Cancer Society does more pink for your green. Walk with us.

Edmunds.com gathered data on every 2011 vehicle on the market and estimated the five-year cost of owning each, resulting in winners of their 2011 True Cost to Own Awards2. We are proud to announce that two Chevrolet models won the award: the 2011 Equinox and the 2011 Silverado 2500HD Regular Cab pickup.
The True Cost to Own award takes multiple factors into account. The Total Cash Price includes MSRP, typically equipped options, and other standard charges, taxes and fees. Depreciation is the amount by which the value of a vehicle declines from its purchase price to the estimated resale value. Insurance and financing are based on a well-qualified purchaser. Importantly, the calculation also includes fuel, based on revised EPA ratings, assuming 45% highway and 55% city driving, and maintenance and repairs. Maintenance is the estimated expense of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including replacing tires and other parts.
